Abstract

Malang City is a city in East Java, Indonesia that has problems such as increasing space requirements for development, thus causing the conversion of agricultural land into buildings. Currently, urban agriculture or urban farming is the answer to many problems related to urban life such as the reduction of agricultural land area due to development, less productive slum environment, decreased oxygen quality due to a lot of pollution, global warming and others. Therefore, it is necessary to design an educational tourism facility about urban farming to provide a place for recreation and non-formal education to visitors, especially residents of the city of Malang about the importance of adding insight into urban farming for the sake of human survival and the environment.
