Abstract
The education process in Indonesia does not only go through campus theory, but students need job training or students are given the opportunity to study in the workplace that can increase their knowledge and be ready to enter the world of work when they have completed their bachelor's degree. The Ministry of Education and Culture has opened the Independent Learning Campus internship program where the program is carried out outside the campus with an acknowledgment of 20 credits. Problems that often occur in this program are sexual violence experienced by interns, not getting paid, too many working hours. The existence of this program is quite good, but it is also necessary to consider the rights of students because this program is carried out outside the campus. This study aims to determine the rights of students who take part in the Merdeka Learning internship program at Merdeka Campus. The research method used is normative juridical. The results of the study state that students who carry out the Merdeka Learning Independent Campus internship program have rights that must be fulfilled when carrying out internship activities, whether or not these rights are the right to legal protection from violence, the right to pay wages, the right to work hours, and the credit recognition.
