Abstract

The crisis of identity is a condition in which individuals are faced with various challenges to make choices in an effort to discover who and what he was, this process lasted until the formation of identity commitment chosen by the individual.Identity crisis in teenagers are influenced by many factors, including the role of gender (sex differences) and conditions of an environmental social (community) where they are giving rise comprehension and perceptions of the different also to the things and experiences that they will get .This experience will they be the construction of their knowledge of what their identity, both personal identity and their social identity. Based on the results of statistical calculations can be seen that there is a very significant difference to the identity crisis that occurs between boys and girls, t = 0.000 and p = 0,01. The average boys identity crisis is higher (33.96) than with the identity crisis among girls (26.50). As for the different communities there are significant differences in identity crisis between communities homogeneous and heterogeneous community, t = 0.017 and p= 0.05. In a homogeneous community of identity crisis is higher (114.48) when compared in heterogeneous communities (94.52).
