Abstract

Economic development is supported by key sectors of the Indonesian economy, namely the industrial sector, mining sector, trade sector and other sectors. The industrial sector is often called the Leading Sector because it can lead other sectors to advance the economy in Indonesia. This study aims to determine the effect of working capital and labor on business income in the home wood furniture industry in Krian District, Sidoarjo Regency. The population and samples in this study were all wooden furniture business owners in Krian District, Sidoarjo Regency, amounting to 42 using saturated samples. The results of the analysis show that simultaneously the variables of working capital and labor have an effect on operating income. Partially, the working capital variable has a significant effect on operating income, while the labor variable has no significant effect on operating income The result of the coefficient of determination (R2) is 0.821, which means that working capital and labor variables affect operating income by 82% and the remaining 18% is influenced by other variables.
