Abstract

Abastrak. The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between self-concept and social support with free sex behavior tendency in church teenager. The subjects in this study were church teenager. The population in this research were 180 church teenagers. The sampling technique used is purposive random sampling, using a sample of 50% of the population is obtained by 88 respondents. Measuring instrument used is free sex behavior tendency scale, the scale of self-concept and social support. The results of the regression coefficient analysis output shows the value F = 5.432, p = 0.006 (p < 0.05), which means there is a very significant correlation jointly between self concept and social support with free sex behavior tendency in church teenagers. The results of the partial regression analysis showed the price t = -1.435 and r partial -0.154, p = 0.155 (p > 0.05). This means that there are not significant negative correlation. The higher self concept will lower free sex behavior, otherwise lower self concept will higher free sex behavior. The results of the partial regression analysis also showed the value of t = 1.895 and r partial 0.201, p = 0.062 (p > 0.05) This means that there is not significant correlation.
