Abstract

Geographic Information System (GIS) is a specialized information technology systems used to manage the data where the data has a spatial information. Or it can mean that information systems can store, manage and display information referring to the geographical location based on latitude and longitude imaginary line into a database. Google Inc. is providing a free service that Google Maps Api, which can run on the Android operating system and can be connected with a GPS in Android devices. This service can be used to map the base. Which can be utilized to provide geographic location mapping information. Location mapping information can be applied to map the industry in Sidoarjo. By adding data on existing industry in Sidoarjo. Industry data is saved into a MySQL database and can be displayed if necessary. The data stored includes data latitude and longitude coordinates, the industry name, address, type of production activities, the scale of activities (investments), permitting owned, year began. Coordinate data obtained from the survey directly into the field.
