Abstract
PT. ABC is a company having its address at Jalan Mastrip Kedurus no 44a Karang Subdistrict, Pilang, Surabaya City which is engaged in manufacturing with various kinds of spare parts for two wheels and four wheels using CNC milling and lathe machines. The problem that often occurs is the problem of machine damage resulting in the production process being disrupted which makes the machine experience downtime making production results less than optimal. Therefore, a study was made using the Failure Mode Effect Analysis (FMEA) method to find out the Risk Priority Number or the total risk priority number for all components (446) and the highest value was the collant component (200) the lowest value was the engine filter component (24) . The proposal determines the maintenance time for the fanbelt components 30 days, engine filter 31 days, ATC 29 days, spindle pin 36 days, collant 31 days, engine oil 30 days. The calculation of the cost before and after the proposed machine maintenance is Rp. 21,145,000 and a machine maintenance proposal was made with a reliability value of 50% the cost decreased to Rp. 18,546,059 the difference in cost decreased by Rp. 2,580,941 and it is known from these costs that it can reduce expenses at PT.
