Abstract

This research is motivated by problems of increasing adolescent rebellion or ethical and manners decreasing in adolescents. The purpose of this study to determine the relationship between family support with the tendency of juvenile delinquency. This research was conducted on 121 subjects of students fom students of SMAS Al-Multazam Mojokerto. Data collection is using a family support scale and teen delinquency trend scale. Based on Wilcoxon technique test result using SPSS version 20 obtained correlation coefficient (Z) = -9,521 with significance value (p) = 0,000 <0,01, hence there is significant negative correlation between family support with teenage delinquency tendency. This study is expected to provide information as a benchmark about juvenile delinquency that occurs, so that will reduce the tendency of delinquency among adolescents.
