Abstract
UD. Mitra Sejahtera Teknik is a business engaged in production, one of which produces a meat grinder, coconut milk squeezer and coconut grater. In all types of work, workload is a very important factor. The demand for production targets makes workers experience high pressure, causing physical and mental workloads. When workers experience an excessive mental workload, they will experience work stress which results in decreased performance, efficiency, and work productivity. This study amounted to 10 people in all its workers. The purpose of this study was to analyze the physical and mental workload received by workers at UD. Mitra Sejahtera Teknik, so that the benefit of this research is to find out how much physical and mental workload is experienced by workers and to show the highest workload to be analyzed. One of the physical load methods used is Cardivascular Load (CVL), which is the ratio between the rate of increase in the pulse rate and the maximum pulse rate. Meanwhile, to measure mental workload using the National Aeronautics and Space Administration Task Load Index (NASA- TLX) method, which is a measurement of mental workload based on respondents' subjective perceptions. Based on the results of the calculation of the physical workload using the Cardiovascual Load (CVL) method, it was found that the greatest physical workload was felt by Worker Day 2 with a % CVL value of 62.19%, so it was in the rather heavy category so that it was allowed to work in a short time. Based on the calculation of mental workload using the NASA – TLX method, all workers experience a high mental workload. The heaviest mental workload was felt by Worker 1 with a score of 87 in the very high category. From the sum and percentage of each aspect, it can be seen that Mental Demand is 18.87%, Physical Demand is 17.51%, Temporal Demand is 14.03%, Performance is 12.24%, Effort is 23.80%, Frustration Level of 13.52%.
