Abstract
Organic fertilizers as a factor in increasing soil nutrients are very important for plant growth and development , especially in agriculture . The use of organic fertilizers is increasing from year to year . Due to the manual manufacturing process , the available stock is not sufficient to meet market demand . The process of making fertilizer includes fermentation , drying , refining and mixing . Workers carry out the mixing process with stirring manually with very little capacity . For this reason , a mixer machine is needed that can increase the working capacity of mixing organic fertilizers . The purpose of this research is to design an organic fertilizer mixer machine . The sequence of the research process includes making an organic fertilizer mixer machine , carrying out functional tests and evaluating the performance of the mixer machine , the material being stirred is 1 animal dung 2 soil 3 husks . This research activity produces an organic fertilizer mixer with machine components , namely : Main frame , Stirring drum , Agitator , Container , Pulley and Belt , Motor drive , Speed Reducer .
