Abstract
CV. Wana Indo Raya is a company engaged in the wood industry located in Lumajang, East Java, where this company has 3 types of production including Barecore, Blockboard and Plywood. This company utilizes sengon wood (Falcata Albasia) which is obtained directly from farmers, where sengon wood grows in Java Island. The production capacity of this company is 3000 m / month Barecore, Blockboard and Plywood. Supplier selection is one of the important things in purchasing activities for the company. Supplier selection is a multi-criteria problem that includes quantitative and qualitative factors. CV Wana Indo Raya had experienced a production stop for 2 weeks, the production stop was due to the stock of raw materials being less abundant and there were some raw materials that were defective or rotten which could result in the product experiencing a decrease in quality, the company was lacking in selecting suppliers and providing criteria in terms of purchase of incoming log raw materials. One method that can be used for supplier selection is the AHP (Analytical Hierarchy Process) method. Based on the results of the above analysis, the most influential criterion in selecting wood suppliers at CV Wana Indo Raya is the price criterion with a weight of 0.32. The next influential criteria are the delivery accuracy criteria with a weight of 0.20, the quality criteria with a weight of 0.17, as well as the accuracy criteria with a weight value of 0.16, and the last is the service criteria with a weight of 0.12. The advice that can be given is, if the company is going to develop a partnership relationship with suppliers, the company is prioritized to choose supplier z as a wood supplier for the company because supplier z is the supplier that has the highest overall value (0.51). With this partnership relationship, the performance of the supplier between the supplier and the company will be better and can facilitate the overall project completion target.
