Abstract

PT. Moya Kasri Wira Jatim is one of the pioneers of a company that produces ice blocks in Pasuruan Regency. This ice block is intended as a preservative for fish caught by fishermen and also as a cooler for packaged food and drinks. The company has 15 retailers as consumers of ice cubes with different demands. However, the company in the delivery process still does not pay attention to the transport capacity and shipping routes that are passed in order to improve service. If there is still time, the fleet will return to the company to pick up and deliver the ice blocks to their next destination without optimizing the capacity of the vehicles they have. Therefore, the researchers determined the distribution route for the delivery of ice cubes in order to minimize shipping costs using the MILP (Mixed Integer Linear Programming) model using Lingo software and the Saving method. From the results of data processing, it is found that the optimal route saves the distance of 33.61%, namely 353.812KM and costs 24.29%, namely Rp. 560.473.28, which has a unit price of the route: G – PT.
