Abstract

PSBB is a restriction on certain activities of residents in an area suspected of being infected with Covid19in such a way as to prevent the possibility of spreading the virus. PSBB regulates school and work holidays, religious activities, activities in public places or facilities, social and cultural activities, modesof transportation, and restrictions on other activities. How is the communication behavior between grab drivers and consumers during the implementation of Physical Distancing during the pandemic. Therefore, it is necessary to study this phenomenon. In practice, there are also obstacles that interfere with the communication itself. Likewise what happens in the communication behavior of drivers and consumers. This study aims to determine the communication behavior of drivers and consumers duringthe implementation of physical distancing in the city of Surabaya. This type of research is a qualitative descriptive using data collection methods in the form of interviews, observations and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the communication behavior of grabfood drivers and consumers who are forced not to have physical contact sometimes causes many unexpected miss communication.
