Abstract
The development of the industrial world is getting faster, the competition is so tight it is necessary to increase the competitiveness of serving and meeting consumer demand in the required amount, BERKAH MANDIRI JAYA is a manufacturing business engaged in the production of small and medium industrial machines located at JL. Bulak Banteng Gg. 17 No. 73 Surabaya. This company only produces based on orders (make to order) from consumers, BERKAH MANDIRI JAYA has not determined the standard time or standard time so that this company is not optimal and the output cannot be ascertained, of course this is a problem that must be resolved so that the company can develop and be able to compete with other companies. One method to measure working time so that it can be optimal is to use the Stopwatch Time Study method. From the calculation, it can be seen that the standard time required for the operator to complete one unit of coconut milk squeezer is 40.69 minutes, while to complete one unit of meat grinder is 42.62 minutes, and to complete one unit of cassava chopper is 41. 14 minutes. Based on the results of forecasting to meet demand in 2022, it is known that there are 2 options, namely: adding 2 workers at a cost = 34,560,000 and doing Overtime at a cost = 39,720,000.
