Abstract
Game is a game that is fun and aims to stretch the brain and increase children's creativity. The games that focus more on an education are usually called educational games. Educational game is a game that has a certain concept, one of which is learning while playing. With the concept of learning like that can increase the interest and motivation of children in knowing a knowledge. Especially in early childhood in the introduction of fruits, they are more happy and interested in learning by using the concept of learning while playing and in it there are various kinds of fruit colors and animated images that attract attention so that children are not monotonous in learning with old concepts. Based on the description above, it is very important to make a learning media in the form of an educational game for the introduction of fruits by utilizing 2D technology to create applications for the introduction of fruits in early childhood using Android-based Unity3D. The method used in this research is GDLC (Game Development Life Cyle). The results of the research on the Design of Fruit Recognition Educational Games Using Unity3D, there are several menus including a fruit recognition menu, a fruit guessing menu, a math quiz menu and to determine early childhood understanding regarding the introduction of fruits. in accordance with the results of testing on fruit recognition educational games using Unity3D, this application is declared suitable to be used as a learning medium for early childhood in recognizing types of fruit while at home or wherever the child is.
