Abstract

The development of technology is made to support human needs to be more practical in the life of one of them in the field of household. This is what underlies this research. By using NodeMCU as a microcontroller for IoT-concept Smart Home systems. With the creation of Smart Home system with IoT concept is expected to value efficiency and security value at home. In this study, NodeMCU was implemented as a microcontroller in Smart Home systems with IoT concept. This system is designed by using Telegram Messenger as an input or notification media on this system. When the input chat then the reading of chat input data by the program to be verified. If verification is not successful then the system does not respond followed by reprogramming the chat input, if the verification is successful then the BOT will respond and then send the input signal to the microcontroller for processing, after processing the microcontroller will send the output signal (On/Off) to be sent to the relay which will be forwarded to the output component (Solenoid Doorlock, LED light, Sensor). By implementing this Smart Home ioT concept system, we can take advantage of existing technology. The IoT-concept Smart Home system is also safe because only people who have certain accesses can control the house such as unlocking doors and turning on lights remotely.
