Abstract

Indonesia, which is included in the earthquake line area (The Ring of Fire) or an area prone to earthquakes, requires special attention in terms of building construction to determine the clarity of the performance of the building structure. Structural performance is the level of performance of a building structure against earthquakes, this needs to be done to adjust the building structure to the use of the building itself. The performance of the structure can be known by looking at the degree of damage that occurs to the structure of a building when it is exposed to a planned earthquake with a certain period. Structural performance analysis was carried out on 3 (three) modeling variations, namely a square-shaped irregular plan and an "L"-shaped irregular plan with area reduction values of 0.25% and 0.4%. then an analysis was carried out using the SAP2000 program to obtain the behavior of the structure and then a nonlinear analysis was carried out using the ¬Pushover Analysis method by applying commonly used regulations, namely ATC-40, FEMA 356 and FEMA 440. The results showed that differences in plan configurations affect the amount of period, displacement and story drift values where of the three models, the L1 type plan (model 2) has the largest displacement and story drift values, namely 0.681990 mm and 0.664367 mm. while the results of pushover performance level analysis, all plan models, both regular plans, L1 type plans and also L2 plans are included in the IO (Immediate Occupancy) category.
