Abstract
ne of the natural resources which is a state asset that can make a valuable contribution to the welfare of the Indonesian people is marine and fishery resources. Jember Regency needs the use of the fisheries sector to support the community's economy because Jember Regency is one of the Indonesian governments that has a large enough potential for aquatic resources. Based on the 2016 RKPD of Jember Regency, there will be fishery landing centers, one of which is located in Ambulu District. In Ambulu District, there are already fish landing centers but they do not meet the existing criteria. By developing a fish landing base, it is hoped that it will overcome the utilization of the fisheries sector. This development can also improve facilities and infrastructure. The development also takes into account the existing functions and roles. For functions, it has several kinds, such as landing and unloading functions, processing functions, marketing functions, and coaching functions for fishing communities. For the facilities to be provided for development, namely docks, harbor ponds, navigation aids, breakwaters, fish auction places, processing warehouses, fish packing places, ice factories, ice buildings, workshops, slipways, SPDN, toilets, employee mess, kiosks, mosques , and the management office. Market opportunities in capture fisheries are very large and this opens up opportunities for various types of businesses ranging from pre-production, production and post-production. Along with the development of many fishermen who have not enjoyed the results. Therefore, by carrying out developments that are expected to be used as proposals. And can increase activities that support the type of business related. In addition, the background with the application of tropical architecture near the coast is expected to support the activities that will be carried out by fishermen and other supporters.
