Abstract
Perkembangan dunia kosntruksi telah mengalami kemajuan yang pesat. Semua pihak yang terlibat dalam proyek konstruksi diharuskan beradaptasi dengan perkembangan yang ada. Kebanyakan perhitungan volume bangunan konstruksi yang umum digunakan ialah menggunakan metode konvensional yaitu dengan perhitungan berdasarkan pada gambar kerja dan dibantu dengan microsoft excel yang dihitung pada SMM (Standard Method of Measurement) di mana perhitungannya didasarkan pada panjang,lebar dan tinggi. Metode seperti ini dinilai kurang efektif karena apabila volume yang dihitung lebih kompleks dan banyak maka peluang kesalahan dalam perhitungan volume juga akan lebih besar oleh karena itu diperlukannya efisiensi dalam perhitungan volume. Salah satu untuk mencapai efisiensi dalam perhitungan volume ialah menggunakan Software Autodesk Revit, di dalam software ini kita dapat menghitung volume bangunan secara efisien dan meminimalisir kemungkinan kesalahan yang terjadi dalam perhitungan Volume bangunan Instalasi Pengolahan Air (IPA) SPAM Gresik. Dengan menggunakan metode ini didapatkan volume beton total yang diperoleh untuk bangunan Prasedimentasi adalah 1938,24 m³, bangunan Flokulasi-Clarifier didapatkan 2373,46 m³, bangunan Sandfilter didapatkan 2002,34 m³. Untuk volume besi total yang diperoleh untuk bangunan Prasedimentasi adalah 301,24 ton, bangunan Flokulasi-Clarifier didapatkan 275,68 ton, bangunan Sandfilter didapatkan 221,33 ton.
