Abstract
This research was conducted with the aim of identifying the dominant risk and allocation of risk to the most appropriate party to manage risk in the Grand Dafam Signature Hotel Building Construction project in Yogyakarta. This study uses quantitative research methods. The sample in this study was 18 people including expert staff from the implementing contractor and supervisory consultant. The data collection in this study came from primary data, namely the results of distributing questionnaires and interviews, with several in the project who had been selected, as many as 18 selected respondents, and secondary data, namely studies of previous similar research literature studies and from historical data in the form of data from previous similar projects. Based on the output results from the stages of the data processing process, the Risk Identification of the Grand Dafam Signature Hotel Building Project Yogyakarta, namely that there is a dominant risk that occurs in project implementation and risk allocation. It can be concluded that there is a dominant risk in project implementation by analyzing 27 selected risk variables and 6 dominant risk variables occurring in project implementation, namely material price increases, material damage or loss, occupational health and safety (K3) at the project location due to inadequate safety regulations. carried out in the field, design changes, changes in the schedule of work implementation, and late payments in the contract and there is a risk allocation based on the distribution of the results of the risk allocation assessment, 17 (seventeen) risks are allocated to the contractor, 3 (three) risks are allocated to the owner, and 7 (seven) risks are allocated jointly between owner and contractor (shared), with the percentage of risk allocation being shared with the contractor 63%, owner 11% and allocated jointly (shared) 26%.
