Abstract

In the implementation of road projects that have a lot of repetitive work, the S Curve itself has not been able to meet the resource requirements that are continuously scheduled without any obstacles. The method that is suitable for repetitive work processes is Line Of Balance, where Line Of Balance shows the process duration and production level in a graphical form that is easy to understand by knowing the level of productivity in terms of duration and progress of activities, and can detect work processes that collide with each other by looking at the presence or absence of bar charts that intersect, makes this method more suitable for repetitive work to avoid wasting resources. In this research, where the case study is on the Waru – Buduran Frontage Road and Bridge Construction project. The selection of this project is based on the nature of the road project work that is repetitive/repetitive and the scheduling is made using the S Curve method. By using the Line of Balance scheduling, it is expected to make it easier to work on projects that have a relatively long working period to be more effective in the processing stage and can find out the shortcomings of the project. the previous method using the S Curve method. Scheduling with the Line of Balance method can be seen if the use of resources is continuous without any disconnection, so that it can be utilized as well as possible with the total time required using the Line of Balance method is 147 days, where there are the difference of 18 days when compared to the existing scheduling and the total cost required using the Line of Balance method has increased by Rp. 925,441,760.66 with a total amount of Rp. 40,069,308,271.03.
