Abstract

This research tries to prove the influence of components of regional government budget which are local own-source revenue and interngovernmental transfer towards regional economic growth rate in the district/city government in East Java Province for the period 2009-2013. This research is quantitative research using data panel. Sample used in this research is 15 district/cities in East Java Province that report budget realization consistently over 5 years. The test results stated that the local own-source revenue significantly influence regional economic growth rate. Other test result obtained from this study is interngovernmental transfer does not significantly influence regional economic growth rate but has a positive coefficient direction. Another conclusion obtained from this research that when the local revenue and interngovernmental transfer tested together can affect regional economic growth rate significantly.
