Abstract

Perkerasan jalan merupakan lapisan yang terletak diantara lapisan tanah dasar dan roda kendaraan, sehingga merupakan lapisan yang berhubungan langsung dengan kendaraan. Lapisan ini yang berfungsi memberikan pelayanan terhadap lalu-lintas dan menerima beban repetisi lalu-lintas setiap harinya.. Pada perencanaan Jalan Simokerto - Jalan Kenjeran STA 1+600 s/d STA 1+800 menggunakan metode AASHTO 1993 dengan umur rencana jalan yakni 20 tahun dan faktor pertumbuhan lalu lintas 6%. Data yang digunakan untuk merencanakan perkerasan lentur pada ruas Jalan Simokerto - Jalan Kenjeran STA 1+600 s/d STA 1+800 didapat dari Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya untuk data lalu lintas dan Dinas Pekerjaan Umum Kota Surabaya untuk data CBR tanah. Data-data tersebut merupakan komponen dasar yang paling dibutuhkan dalam merencanakan tebal lapis perkerasan lentur menggunakan metode AASHTO 1993. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan perencanaan tebal lapis perkerasan lentur dengan metode AASHTO 1993 pada BAB IV didapat total tebal lapisan pada Alternatif 1 adalah dengan total sebesar 59 cm, pada lapisan permukaan (surface course) sebesar 9 cm, pada lapisan pondasi atas (base course) sebesar 19 cm dan lapisan pondasi bawah sebesar 31 cm, dengan tanah dasar (sub grade) mempunyai CBR 5,4 . Pada alternatif 2 hasil yang didapat pada perencanaan tebal lapis perkerasan adalah dengan total sebesar 61 cm, pada lapisan permukaan (surface course) didapat 15 cm, pada lapisan pondasi atas (base course) didapat sebesar 15 cm,pada lapisan pondasi bawah didapat sebesar 30 cm, dengan tanah dasar (sub grade) mempunyai nilai CBR 5,4%.
