Abstract
PT. Kindo Asia Tama which is located at Jalan Tambak Sawah Kav E no 18 is a distributor company engaged in the printing sector. Some of its products include banners, stickers, key chains, cover binders, agendas, etc. which are related to printing and according to customer orders. PT Kindo Asia Tama has intensified its existing products and is also making efforts to better satisfy customers. PT. Kindo Asia Tama has given solid reasons and is now ready to face the free market and tougher competition. To further optimize all available resources, PT. Kindo Asia Tama restructured its business by establishing two business pillars of Printing and Advertising. So, companies can concentrate more on dealing with different types of businesses and markets. The research objectives to be achieved in accordance with the formulation of the problem described above are to determine the application of accounting information systems in recording sales before and after based on information technology at PT. Kindo Asia Tama. This study took respondents from the operational admin section at PT. Kindo Asia Tama, totaling 2 people. In the implementation in the field, this research takes primary data by using a questionnaire. The secondary data other than the primary data obtained, obtained from the personnel staff of PT. Kindo Asia Tama includes company profile and company organizational structure. The type of research that will be used is using qualitative research methods with descriptive methods. Analysis techniques used are interviews, questionnaires, and observation. The results of the analysis conclude that the use of information systems based on information technology with accurate software can make it easier to complete financial reports, especially in recording sales.
