Abstract

This research aims to gather the evidence related to the effect of BOPO, credit risk, and the capital sufficiency toward the profitability. Explanatory research was applied to link the variables by using quantitative approach. The research population was the banks registered in Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) in 2016-2020. The sample was gathered by referring to purposive sampling principle to which 10 companies were chosen. The anylisis technique was double linear regression and the data were processed with SPSS. The result shows thaf BOPO and credit risk have negative effect on profitability, but capital sufficiency has positively affected the profitability. However, when simultant independent variable test was conducted it is found that the independent variable significantly affects the dependant variable.
