Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan proses pergeseran bunyi dan bentuk serta makna pada kata serapan dari bahasa Jepang ke dalam bahasa Indonesia. Jenis penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif dengan data berupa kata yang diidentifikasi sebagai kata serapan bahasa Jepang yang diambil dari KBBI Daring. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan fonemik, morfologi, dan semantik. Setelah dilakukan analisis terhadap keseluruhan 48 data kata serapan, didapati 44 kata yang mengalami pergeseran bunyi yaitu: Asimilasi sebanyak 5 kata, Aferesis sebanyak 1 kata, Apokope sebanyak 22 kata, Sinkope sebanyak 24 kata, Monoftongisasi sebanyak 1 kata, Epentesis sebanyak 1 kata, Paragog sebanyak 1 kata. Selanjutnya 4 data kata serapan yang mengalami pergeseran bentuk penambahan afiks ‘ber-’ sebanyak 1 kata, dan penambahan afiks ‘pe-’ sebanyak 3 kata. Dari seluruh 44 kata serapan bahasa Jepang dalam bahasa Indonesia yang mengalami pergeseran bunyi, serta 1 kata yang mengalami pergeseran bentuk penambahan afiks “ber-”, didapati fenomena penyempitan atau pembatasan makna sebanyak 38 kata, perluasan makna sebanyak 7 kata, peningkatan nilai makna atau amelioratif sebanyak 2 kata, penurunan nilai makna atau peyoratif sebanyak 2 kata, serta ditemukan 4 kata yang tidak mengalami pergeseran makna.
