Abstract
Motivation to volunteer is an individual urge to help and be stored in oneself to be released and developed so that individuals can reflect on the desire to have a close relationship with anyone and the individual has a desire to help others with love and love. Students who have the motivation to volunteer in themselves make students to be an easy person to take the time to help anyone so that the student has a prosocial behaviour in him to help whoever the students meet without thinking about the benefits for the students themselves. The purpose of this research is to know the relationship between motivation to volunteer with prosocial behavior in the psychology student of Untag Surabaya. The subject in this study was 100 students of the Faculty of Physiology Force 2016 University 17 August 1945 Surabaya. The data retrieval techniques in this study used the motivation scale into volunteers and the scale of the prosocial behavior of Likert models. Result of analysis with product moment using SPSS 23 obtained correlation coefficient rxy = 0.854 with significance value (p) = 0.000 < 0.01 This means that the value (p) is smaller than 0.01 and the odds of rejecting HO are getting bigger. Thus the hypothesis "there is a positive relationship between motivation to volunteer with prosocial behavior, the higher the motivation to volunteer, the higher the prosocial behavior. Conversely if motivation becomes low volunteer then the prosocial behavior is also low "filed by researchers in this study is acceptable.
