Abstract
Prosocial behavior is an act that gives sincere help to other without looking at the person to be helped and can actually pose a risk to the person giving help. One aspect that can lead to prosocial behavior is empathy, where when people have empaty, their souls will be moved to provide assistance to others. This study ‘aims to determine thei relationship between empathy with prosocial behaviory in vocational school Perdana Surabaya (SMKkPerdana Surabaya). The technique used in retrieving data with random cluster sampling, with quantitative methods. Respondents in this study was 101 students who were randomly drawn from class X to XII. Referring to the results of the analysis using the product moment correlation test show (rxy)=0.436 with a significance of P=0.000 : (P≤0.01) it’s mean that there is a very significant positive relationship between empathy and prosocial behavior in SMK Perdana Surabaya. This means that if someone who has empathy will move his soul to prosocial behavior, and so otherwise.
