Abstract

The drainage network system or flood control is one of the 12 universal components of infrastructure, so it is necessary to try a study to identify the capacity of the drainage channel to accommodate the planned discharge or not. The inundation of the area near the drainage channel in Tlogopojok Village is due to the water flowing in the drainage channel that exceeds the capacity of the canal so that the water overflows and causes puddles in the surrounding area. The purpose of this study was to determine the flood discharge that flows and to determine the capacity of the drainage on Jalan Governor Suryo for the return period of 2, 5 and 10 years and to determine the shape of the flood water level profile in the channel using HEC-RAS software. The method in this study uses descriptive quantitative methods with research subjects using HEC-RAS 5.0.3 software on drainage channels and using library research instruments and field observations with hydrological data analysis techniques, topographic and contour map data, flood discharge, capacity, and shape. water level profile. So with this, it can be concluded that downstream of the channel there is flooding because the existing holding capacity at that interval is all smaller than the design discharge in both the return periods of 2, 5 and 10 years and each STA experiences overflow or flooding with a volume or flood discharge that is different vary in both the 2, 5 and 10 year returns.
