Abstract

One form of rights that every person is the to health. Health is an important aspect of Human Rights (HAM), which is written in the Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations (UN) in 1948. The issue of women’s reproductive rights is part of the concept of Human Rights. The significance of the right to health is to provide duty and responsibility on the government to create the conditions that allow every individual to live a healthy life, with efforts to provide adequate health care facilities and affordable health care for the community. Women's reproductive health is one thing to be considered given the death rate among a lot of women. So it takes some regulations on the fulfillment of reproductive health rights for women, as well as the efforts undertaken by the government in implementing and protecting women's reproductive health rights. Reproductive Health is a collection of technical methods, and services that support reproductive health and well-being through the prevention and resolution of reproductive health problems that include sexual health, life status and personal relationships. In the health and reproductive rights of women the Amungme Tribe is very much needed. This writing discusses the legal protection of the Amungme Tribe Women's Health and Reproductive Rights under the Cedaw Convention. The method used is normative juridical. Collection of legal materials is done through literature and is analyzed qualitative normatively. The results of this research are to realize the legal protection of the Health and Reproductive Rights of Amungme Women Based on the Cedaw Convention. The state's obligation to provide legal protection for the health and reproductive rights of Amungme women is that there is discrimination against Amungme women.
