Abstract

Manga is a comic from Japan that has a lot of fans in Indonesia, one of which is the Crayon Shinchan manga. The words that used in the manga is not entirely Japanese, but there are also loan words taken from other languages ​​which later phonologically follows the syllable system in Japanese. The type of research that used is descriptive qualitative. This research approach is phonology and morphology. Data from This research is in the form of words that undergo phonological and morphological processes, include: phoneme addition, phoneme deletion, phoneme shift, and shorten words. The source of data in this study is the one used namely the Shin Crayon Shinchan manga edition of Ora No Miryoku Wa Mugendai Supesharu part 1 with the following data results; (1) 43 loan words experience phoneme addition, (2) 2 loan words experience phoneme deletion, (3) 35 loan words undergo a phoneme shift process, and (4) 5 loan words experience shortening.
