Abstract

The development of technology in this era is very rapid, many people use technology to make their work easier, more efficient, effective and energy efficient so that many researchers are interested in developing it. One of the many technological concepts proposed to increase effectiveness is IoT (Internet of Things). IoT (Internet of Things) can be used by the office as a Smart Office to control electronic equipment that can be operated using a smartphone via an internet connection module (WIFI). This Internet of Things (IoT)-based Smart Home system application uses the NodeMCU ESP8266 module as a microcontroller and a smartphone as a control and monitoring tool. There are several sensors that can be utilized in the use of the NodeMCU module in Smart Office such as pressure sensors and sound sensors. In addition, in the design of this system, it can be connected to the room door and room lights. From the results of testing and analysis, controlling or monitoring electronic equipment in this Smart Office operates according to the orders given. As long as the system is connected to the internet (WIFI) stably and continuously, there will be no problem with this IoT (Internet of Things) based Smart Office sister.
