Abstract

UD. Winda Art Gallery located in the Sidoarjo area is a manufacturing company engaged in the field of frame business. UD. Winda Art Gallery has not implemented accounting treatment of by products, where sales of by products have not been included in the Income/Loss Statement. So researchers describe four accounting treatments of by products by incorporating sales into a company's financial statements. The purpose of the research to be achieved in this study in accordance with the formulation of the problem is to know the calculation of the cost of production of the main product and by products and to know the accounting treatment of business profit. The method used in this study is a combination method, which combines qualitative methods and quantitative methods. In this study the data needed by researchers is primary data and secondary data. The data collection is done through interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of the research obtained can be concluded that UD. Winda Art Gallery can get maximum profit in 2018 if it applies the method of selling by products treated as a reduction in the cost of goods sold, which is Rp. 676,919,950,-. Similarly, in 2019 by applying the same method as the previous year so that it can earn a profit of Rp. 1,129,932,550,-. While in 2020 applying the method of selling by products is treated as a reduction in total production costs and earns a profit of Rp. 518,316,875,-.
