Abstract

As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, several sectors experienced shocks and slumps, but the tourism sector became one of the sectors that could survive and become the strongest sector supporting the country's economy. According to Indonesia investment, currently the tourism sector in Indonesia contributes about 4 percent of the total economy. This is what makes many regions in Indonesia begin to develop the tourism sector as one of the development priorities, one of which is Mojokerto Regency. In the results of the Musrenbang (Development Planning Deliberation) of the Mojokerto Regency RKPD (Regional Government Work Plan) 2021, the development priorities of East Java Province in 2021 take the theme ''Improving Industry, Tourism and Investment, supported by Human Resources (Human Resources) and Infrastructure for Quality Growth. ''. It is also mentioned in the Final Plan Guidelines for the Preparation of the Regional Development Work Plan (RKPD) of Mojokerto Regency in Part V 119, namely the Tourism Development Program in 2020, it is stated that one of the tourist attractions included in the tourism development plan in Mojokerto Regency is Tanjungan Tourism. This is because, along with the increase in the number of visitors, it must also be supported by adequate facilities and infrastructure. So that a redesign is needed using a design concept that focuses on highlighting or showing the features and characteristics of the Tanjungan Tourism Area.
