Abstract

This study aims to find out empirically the relationship between internal locus of control and prosocial behavior in youth members. This study uses the independent variable, namely the internal locus of control and the dependent variable is prosocial behavior. The subjects in this study amounted to 80 people who are all members of the youth organization in Turisari RW 01 Hamlet, Kelurahan Panjang, Sidoarjo Regency. This research using the population study method or census study by distributing the internal locus of control scale and prosocial behavior scale online. The statistical analysis used is the Product Moment correlation test. The results of this study indicate the value of rxy = 0.553 with a significance value of p = 0.000 < 0.01, it can be concluded that the internal locus of control has a positive relationship with prosocial behavior, especially members of youth organizations in Turisari RW 01 Hamlet.
