Abstract

This research intends to realize a new technology that replaces the Automatic Railroad Cross Gate System with Arduino-Based Wireless Communication, where the research only uses Arduino hardware. By using simple electronic components that can automate the control of the railway gate from a predetermined schedule. Trains approaching the intersection, the device on the crossing gate will close the door in response to the passing train schedule. Then it will reopen the crossing gate when the train has passed the light sensor. This web-based scheduling information system is integrated with Arduino hardware, which will control the crossing gates at every railroad crossing guard post. By automating railroad crossing gates using the schedule specified on this web, it is expected to reduce the rate of accidents that occur at railroad crossings. The purpose of this research is to automate railroad crossings using an Integrated Web-Based Train Schedule Intelligent Information System in Simulation of Railroad Crossings.
