Abstract

The development of information and communication technology at this time has grown rapidly and has had a major influence on many aspects of life, behavior and even human activities which are now heavily dependent on information and communication technology. Technological developments are followed by game developments. Digital gaming technology is developing rapidly compared to traditional games. The problem faced today is that children aged 10 to 15 years now rarely have knowledge about the culture in Indonesia, one of which is the wayang culture which is increasingly being forgotten because they know and understand foreign culture better than the culture in their own country, namely beloved indonesia. From these problems, it is necessary to build a game to introduce children aged 10 to 15 years about the culture of Indonesia, namely wayang so as not to be easily forgotten, which introduces wayang characters using an educational game format. This game is a platformer game, but there is an educational element as well as encyclopedias and puppet characters who are the main characters of this game so we can play it while learning about wayang and illustrations from the existing puppet characters. In making this game the author has a goal so that children aged 10 to 15 years can preserve Indonesian cultures, not only puppetry but other cultures as well.
