Abstract

The skin is one of the senses that function as flavorings in the human skin is the largest organ of the human body constituent which is located on the far outside and cover the entire surface of the human body. On the general disorder that often arise on the skin often occurs because there are various factors cause. One of the reasons is a lack of awareness for the skin disease problems checked into the doctor's expert is a shame to explicate the disease suffered even a possibility due to economic factors. So for support in the development of software that can perform diagnosis of skin diseases and provide some solutions based on the input data provided is expert system. This system worked to adopt human knowledge to the computer that combines the basic knowledge with the system of inference to replace the function of an expert in solving a problem. One inference method used in the expert system is forward chaining. In this method, the data is used to determine which rules will be executed, then the rule is executed. Methods of development of the software used is a method of sequential linear i.e. methods which proposed an approach to software development that systematic and sequential who start on the level and progress of the system on the whole analysis, design, coding, and testing. The results of this research is an information based on the results of the consultations in which the solution can be used as an advice.
