Abstract

Kemajuan teknologi memiliki dampak yang cukup besar terhadap perdagangan produk kecantikan. Dimana para pelaku usaha produk kosmetik dapat memperdagangkan produknya dengan mudah melalui sosial media khususnya E-commerce. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian normatif, yakni penelitian yang mengkaji studi dokumen, dengan menggunakan berbagai data sekunder seperti teori hukum, peraturan perundang-undangan, keputusan pengadilan , dan pendapat para sarjana. Dengan cara menganalisis asas-asas, teori dan konsep-konsep hukum serta peraturan perundang-undangan yang berkaitan dengan peran pemerintah dalam pemberantasan perdagangan kosmetik berbahaya melalui E-commerce. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah, tidak adanya pengaturan mengenai sanksi terhadap pelaku usaha yang memperdagangkan kosmetik berbahaya di E-commerce. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa kemajuan teknologi memberi dampak yang cukup besar dalam kehidupan bermasyarakat. Namun, terdapat pelaku usaha curang yang memanfaatkan situasi ini demi kepentingan pribadi, yakni memperdagangkan kosmetik berbahaya melalui E-commerce. Maka terdapat kekosongan norma, dimana tidak adanya ketentuan yang mengatur lebih spesifik mengenai perdagangan kosmetik berbahaya melalui E-commerce.
