Abstract

Besarnya Konsmusi tenaga listrik di wilayah surabaya utara menjadi perhatian oleh pihak PT.PLN (Persero) UP3 Surabaya Utara. PT. PLN (Persero) UP3 Surabaya Utara tidak ingin terjadi kesalahan pada titik transaksi (kWh Meter) yang akan mengakibatkan susut energi semakin besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menekan kesalahan pengukuran atau penyalahgunaan pemakaian energi pada APP (Alat Pengukur dan Pembatas) yang disediakan PT. PLN (Persero) yang dapat merugikan kedua belah pihak, yaitu pihak PT.PLN (Persero) maupun pelanggan.Penelitian ini menggunakan analisa vektor dan rekayasa teknik pada Alat Pengukur dan Pembatas (APP) pada pelanggan 3 phasa dengan metode penelitian kuantitatif. Berdasarkan hasil analisa vektor dan instaneous data sistem Automatic Meter Reading (AMR) sangat membantu PT. PLN (Persero) dalam mengantisipasi sejak dini kesalahan pengukuran pada APP (Alat Pengukur dan Pembatas) yang terpasang di pelanggan. Sehingga dapat mengurangi kerugian yang didapat oleh salah satu pihak baik itu PT. PLN (persero) ataupun pelanggan yang bersangkutan.
