Abstract

Lagu dan/atau musik merupakan hasil cipta karya manusia yang dilindungi oleh undang-undang. Hal ini, perlindungan terhadap lagu dan/atau musik dilakukan untuk memberikan kesejahteraan kepada para pencipta lagu, baik dalam segi ekonomi maupun non-ekonomi. Perlindungan tersebut diatur dalam sejumlah peraturan perundangan yang berlaku di Indonesia, baik dari hulu yakni Undang-Undang Dasar Negara Kesatuan Republik Indonesia 1945 hingga lex spesialis yang diwujudkan oleh Peraturan Pemerintah No.56 Tahun 2021. Dilengkapi juga dengan Peraturan Menteri Kementrian Hukum dan HAM, dan sejumlah peraturan perundangan yang lain, pengelolaan royalti hak cipta lagu/dan atau musik di Indonesia telah berhasil melewati fase kekaburan hukum pada tahun 2021 ini.
