Abstract

There are many hotels and inns that are competing to compete and increase the number of customers in the city of Surabaya with various other facilities offered. The intense competition makes Ascot Waterplace Surabaya provide maximum service, with the increasing interest of guests who come at Ascott Waterplace Hotel Surabaya both from local and foreign countries, the more influential the electrical installation system in the building in Surabaya Ascott Waterplace Hotel because the more guests stay, the electricity load will also be higher, due to the increasing number of electronic devices. In addition to the high electrical load, the possibility of losses will occur, one of which includes voltage drop, which may be caused by channel length, channel flow, channel resistance and power factor (cos ), therefore in this case the author wants to analyze the system electricity at Ascott Waterplace Hotel Surabaya. The addition of capacitor simulation is done with ETAP 12.6 with the theory put forward by Gaus Saidel about the iteration method to find the voltage drop to close to error 0.0001. The results of this study are to find out the voltage drop on any bus and improve the voltage drop with reactive power generation by transferring capacitors and adding capacitors.
