Abstract
This study is about the analysis of grammatical and lexical cohesion in “Little Women” by Louisa May Alcott. This study is to find out the types of reference in grammatical cohesion and the types of reiteration in lexical cohesion . In order to answer the research questions, the researcher uses Halliday and Hasan (1976) as the main theory. There are three findings: First, the researcher finds four types of grammatical cohesion. They are possessive pronouns, possessive adjectives, object pronouns and subject pronouns. Second, the researcher finds four types of reiteration lexical cohesion. They are synonym, repetition, hyponym and antonym. Keywords: Grammatical and Lexical Cohesion, personal reference, reiteration.
