Abstract
This research is motivated by the problem of perceptions of corruption, negative perceptions that are formed on corrupt behavior is very influential on political trust in political trust in society. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of DPRD mass corruption cases with political trust with a population of 483 people. This study aims to determine the relationship between perceptions of DPRD mass corruption cases with political trust with a population of 483 people. . This study uses a quota sampling technique by involving 202 people in one of Malang City's villages. Retrieval of data using a scale of perception of corruption and the scale of political trust in political trust with the Likert model. Based on the results of the Spearman technique test using SPSS version 24 the results obtained r = -0.109 and p = 0.123 (p> 0.05), meaning that there is no relationship of perception of corruption with political trust in political trust, so the hypothesis in this study which states that there is a negative relationship between the two variables is rejected. With the unproven hypothesis in this study, the researcher acknowledged that there were deficiencies in several things such as the preparation of the scale, the questionnaire distribution technique and the lack of supervision from the researcher so that it was estimated that the subjects did not understand the instructions and how to fill them out
