Abstract

The portal website for basic food agents is a forum that specifically deals with the sale of basic necessities and provides opportunities for large and small agents to promote their products. By utilizing technology, doing basic food business will be far more efficient and can spread to all regions, especially in the city of Surabaya. Information about basic needs includes the types of basic food, basic necessities, basic food prices, and addresses of basic food items that can be informed to the public. The result of this research is that a portal website for GIS-based food staples has been built in Surabaya using Google Maps API in which it can carry out the sales process and accurate information about basic food products and provide convenience to buyers to find out the location of the groceries shop and shipping costs
