Abstract

The system of population administration and geographical village has indeed been developed by many researchers beforehand, but what distinguishes it from each system that is made is a feature where the community can perform self-service when they will submit correspondence as well as integration of Geographic Information Systems population data so that it can be processed more optimally. Padangbandung village has had a good system but still uses Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel as well as other supporting notebooks. Besides that, there is no supporting application to allow the geographical information to be provided in Padangbandung village. By using the Information System, the village officials of Padangbandung often encounter obstacles in population services such as the difficulty of providing population data and information quickly and accurately, and data errors often occur. Therefore, a geographic and population information technology-based technology development system will be needed which will help inform the geographical situation and the data collection of the residents of Padangbandung Village. So that this program is expected to be able to introduce geographical potentials as well as minimize data errors and ensure the accuracy of population data information in Padangbandung Village. This Geographical and Population Information System will record and inform data about the location data of superior SMEs, the location of each RT and RW, KTP, KK, Birth Certificate, Moving Coming, Moving Out, and the Death Letter of Padangbandung Village. For this reason, I take the title "GEOGRAPHIC INFORMATION SYSTEM AND WEB-BASED VILLAGE POPULATION ADMINISTRATION" or simply "SICAKEP SIGAP"
