Abstract

Village-owned business entities formed by village governments whose capital ownership and management are carried out by the government and the community, BUMDES are also expected to be able to stimulate and drive the economy in the village, economic assets in the village must be fully managed by the village community, the substance and philosophy of BUMDES must be imbued with the spirit of togetherness and self help, as an effort to strengthen the economic aspects of society. The industrial revolution 4.0 is a challenge for some people who find it difficult to find work in the industrial revolution because all jobs are replaced by machines, but in fact the answer of the industrial revolution 4.0 is the creative economy because the source of the creative economy is his own mind, and his human resources. It is a source that will never run out in the face of industry development 4.0. This study uses a qualitative method with a SWOT matrix to find out the strategies used by the BUMDes in encouraging the creative economy in Drajat village, Paciran sub-district, Lamongan Regency. This study discusses (1) the role of BUMDes on the development of MSMEs based on the creative economy (2) the BUMDes strategy in encouraging creative economy (3) what are the driving and inhibiting factors in the development of MSMEs in the industrial era 4.0. The results of this study indicate that BUMDes has a very important role in the development of MSMEs in the village of Drajat, and existing MSMEs are already capable of developing industry 4.0, although there are several factors that hamper their development
