Abstract

This study uses multiple linear regression analysis is the analysis used to find the influence of independent variables to a dependent variable by using time series year 2012-2016. The variables used in this study are the number of indusrti lodging services (hotel) in Pasuruan, the amount of investment in lodging services (hotels) in Pasuruan and employment data absorbed in the lodging services industry (hotel) in Pasuruan. The data are secondary data sourced from the tourism office of Pasuruan Regency. The result of the analysis shows that partially or simultaneously the variable of the number of service industry (hotel) and the amount of investment have a significant effect on the variable of employment of the lodging industry (hotel) in Pasuruan. It can be concluded that the independent variables affect the dependent variable of 7.3% and the remaining 2.7% is explained by other variables not included in the study.
