Abstract

This study aims to assess the effectiveness of training and development as well as employee welfare where suggestions and recommendations will be given from the findings contained in PT. Berlian Indonesia Terminal Services (BJTI) Surabaya. The data collection technique in this research is by conducting a preliminary survey, literature study and field study (interviews, questionnaires and documentation). The data analysis method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis method. Data analysis by setting criteria, describing conditions, finding causes and summarizing effects. Based on the results of the study, it can be seen that the existing employee training and development program at PT. Berlian Jasa Terminal Indonesia (BJTI) Surabaya has been running effectively as well as employee welfare which has been running effectively and is in accordance with company regulations and government regulations.
