Abstract

Distance learning was implemented during the Covid-19 pandemic, but there is no official distance learning curriculum used yet. In the end, the school made various efforts to continue to provide distance learning. Many schools only use assignments as the main material in learning, some require students to actively seek learning materials, some require parents to be active and others. In the end, many students experience anxiety in distance learning, because they are considered new, have to adapt, have a lot of workloads, there are connection problems, etc. This anxiety, if left unchecked, can cause stress which will later develop worse in more acute disorders, such as depression or suicidal tendencies. Therefore, it is necessary to have social support from the people around them as well as the ability to stabilize emotions and cope with stress so that students can reduce anxiety when implementing distance learning. This study aims to prove the relationship between social support, emotional maturity and stress coping with anxiety in distance learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. The subjects in this study were 202 public and private junior/high school students who took distance learning in East Java. This study uses quantitative research methods with data analysis techniques using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on data analysis, the following results were obtained: 1. There is a significant negative relationship between Social Support and Anxiety 2. There is a significant negative relationship between Emotional Maturity and Anxiety 3. There is a significant negative relationship between Coping Stress and Anxiety 4. There is a significant relationship between Social Support, Emotional Maturity and Coping Stress with Anxiety.
